Section 208-620-271 - Do I need a license to assist a homeowner with a residential mortgage loan modification?

Yes. Persons providing third-party loan modification services for compensation or gain must be licensed under this chapter, or under chapter 19.146 RCW. See also WAC 208-620-552 and 208-620-568.
