Section 192-140-085 - What happens if I do not respond to a request for information regarding late claim(s)?

(1) If you ask to file a claim late as defined in WAC 192-140-005 and do not respond to a request for an explanation of why the claim was filed late, the department will presume that the claim was filed late without good cause and benefits will be denied under RCW 50.20.010(1)(b) and WAC 192-140-005.
(2) This denial is for the week or weeks that were filed late.
