Section 192-140-050 - What happens if I do not respond to a request for information about failure to apply for work?

(1) The department will presume you failed to apply for suitable work without good cause if:
(a) You have been directed by the
department to apply for work;
(b)
The department is advised that you have failed to comply as directed;
and
(c) You do not respond to a
request for information.
(2) The department will deny benefits under RCW 50.20.080. This denial will continue for seven weeks and until you earn seven times your weekly benefit in employment that is covered by Title 50 RCW.
