Section 192-640-005 - Definitions

For purposes of this chapter:
(1) "Overpayment" means any or all of the following:
(a) Payment of any paid family or
medical leave benefits to which the department determines the employee is not
entitled;
(b) Penalties assessed
under RCW 50A.15.060; or
(c) Interest accrued under
RCW
50A.15.090.
(2) "Equity and good conscience" means fairness as applied to each individual case after considering the totality of the circumstances.
