Section 110-145-1950 - How is a youth transferred from one type of CRC to another?

(1) After deciding that a youth needs to be transferred from one type of CRC to another, you must take the following steps:
(a) Obtain the
department's agreement with the transfer decision;
(b) Communicate with the CRC where the youth
is being relocated;
(c) Make sure
that space for the youth is available to support the transfer;
(d) Assure mutual agreement with the transfer
decision; and
(e) Document all
communication related to the transfer into the youth's file.
(2) You must also establish and maintain transfer procedures.
