A.
1. Procedures for public hearings and permits
before the department are those set forth in
9VAC25-875-1130.
2. Public notice of the public hearing shall
be given as specified in
9VAC25-875-1100.
3. Any public hearing convened pursuant to
this section shall be held in the geographical area of the proposed discharge,
or in another appropriate area. Related groups of individual permit
applications may be considered at any such public hearing.
B. Any person may submit oral or written statements and data concerning the draft individual permit. Reasonable limits may be set upon the time allowed for oral statements, and the submission of statements in writing may be required.
C. A recording or written transcript of the hearing shall be made available to the public.
