Section 9VAC25-31-320 - Response to comments

A. At the time that a final permit is issued, the department shall issue a response to comments. This response shall:
1. Specify
which provisions, if any, of the draft permit have been changed in the final
permit decision, and the reasons for the change; and
2. Briefly describe and respond to all
significant comments on the draft permit raised during the public comment
period, or during any public hearing.
B. The response to comments shall be available to the public.
Statutory Authority: § 62.1-44.15 of the Code of Virginia; § 402 of the federal Clean Water Act; 40 CFR Parts 122, 123, 124, 403, and 503.
