Part III - Airports and Landing Areas
Section 24VAC5-20-160 - Public waters landing rights

Counties, cities, and towns shall have the power to establish, maintain, and operate airports and landing areas and other navigation facilities in, over, and upon any public waters of this Commonwealth, or any submerged land under such public waters, within the limits or jurisdiction of or bordering on such counties, cities or towns. Any such areas established shall follow all the applicable permitting and licensing requirements of Part III of this chapter (24VAC5-20-120 et seq.).
