Based on enactments 75-78 of Chapters 803 and 835 of the 2012 Acts of Assembly, the Child Day-Care Council is abolished as of July 1, 2012.
Responsibility for regulating child day programs is assigned to the State Board of Social Services (22VAC40). Regulations promulgated by the Child Day-Care Council shall remain in full force and effect until regulations are promulgated by the State Board of Social Services.
