Chapter 490 - REGULATIONS GOVERNING GRADE "A" MILK
Section 2VAC5-490-39.2 - Milk that may be held in a milk storage tank

No person who holds a grade A permit may place or hold in his milk storage tank:

(i) any milk except milk that was obtained from cows, sheep, goats, water buffalo, or other hooved mammal milked at the grade A permit holder's dairy farm;

(ii) any milk that did not enter the milk storage tank through the milking and milk-handling equipment on the grade A permit holder's dairy farm during the milking of the grade A permit holder's cows, sheep, goats, water buffalo, or other hooved mammal;

(iii) any milk that has been held without refrigeration; or

(iv) any milk that has been exposed to chemical or physical contamination.
