Part VI - Qualifications for Licensing of Landscape Architects

A. Applicants with a valid license in good standing to practice landscape architecture issued by another state or other jurisdiction of the United States may be licensed by the board without further examination provided they:
1. Were issued the original license based on
requirements that do not conflict with and that are substantially equivalent to
the board's regulations that were in effect at the time of original
licensure;
2. Passed an exam in
another jurisdiction that was substantially equivalent to that approved by the
board at that time or met the regulations in effect at that time; and
3. Possess a CLARB certificate.
B. Applicants who do not qualify under subsection A of this section shall be required to meet current entry requirements at the time the application for comity is received in the board's office.
