a. Lawful businesses operating within the State of Vermont shall have a right to apply for information plaza plaques erected by the Travel Information Council.

b. Businesses located within 20 miles of an information plaza shall have priority for space, provided however, that if the available space on an information plaza is not rented for the rental year than the Travel Information Council may approve applications from businesses which are located farther than 20 miles from the information plaza but within the State of Vermont.

c. If, at the end of the rental year, the number of applications that are received by the Travel Information Council from businesses located within a 20-mile radius cannot be accommodated without removal of those beyond the 20-mile radius, then those businesses outside the 20-mile radius will not be granted a renewal for a subsequent rental year.

d. A business which is required to remove its information plaza plaque because of the distance limitation shall not be required to pay the initial fee when said business's plaque is replaced on another information plaza.
