1. This rule implements the provision of 18 V.S.A. Section 503, by establishing reasonable fees that shall be charged to cover the cost of services performed by the Department of Health Public Health Laboratory provided the services are not requested under the authority of the Commissioner of Health. The Commissioner shall have the authority to lower fees or waive fees on tests performed for Vermont agencies/departments or other entities when the interests of the State are best served by doing so.
