Section R651-633-5 - General Closures or Restrictions at Antelope Island State Park

(1) A person may not possess a domestic sheep, a pack goat, or a camelid at Antelope Island State Park.
(2) In order to protect bighorn sheep lambing at Antelope Island State Park, a person may not enter the West Side Trail from the top of Sentry to the switchbacks from March 15 through May 15.
(3) At Antelope Island State Park a person in possession of a:
(a)
horse or mule must secure the horse or mule with a lead rope or by other
similar means, when the animal is not being ridden; and
(b) domesticated animals, pets, or service
animals must secure the animal on a leash or tether, or must otherwise keep the
animal under the person's physical control, except for a dog actively engaged
in waterfowl hunting activities if the dog is under the person's voice
control.
