Rule R527-332 - Unreimbursed Assistance
Section R527-332-1 - Authority and Purpose

(1) The Department of Human Services is authorized to create rules necessary for social services pursuant to Section 62A-1-111. The Office of Recovery Services (ORS) is authorized to adopt, amend, and enforce rules pursuant to Section 62A-11-107.

(2) The purpose of this rule is to meet the requirements of 45 CFR 302.32 that requires ORS, in months where there is an assignment of support, to refund collections in excess of the unreimbursed assistance amount (URA) to the family within two business days of the end of the month that payment was received.
