Rule R527-250 - Emancipation and a Child's Age of Majority
Section R527-250-8 - Age of Majority

(1) As provided in Section 15-2-1,a child reaches the age of majority when the child turns 18 years old or is legally married.

(2) Pursuant to Section 78B-5-202, a child support order or a sum certain judgment for past due support may be enforced within four years after the date that the youngest child reaches the age of majority, or eight years from the date of the entry of the sum certain judgment entered by a tribunal, whichever period of duration is longer.
