Section R436-17-2 - Definitions

(1) Terms used in this rule are defined in Section 26-2-2. In addition, the following definition applies in this rule.
(2) "Department" means the Department of Health.
(3) "Institutional Review Board" or "IRB" means a multi-disciplinary committee that reviews proposed research involving human subjects and is registered by the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
