Section R432-950-6 - Facility Oversight

(1) The facility is responsible for the overall quality of the mammography conducted.
(2) The facility shall have available, either on staff or through arrangement, sufficient qualified staff to meet patients' needs relating to mammography. Sufficient staff includes the following:
(a) A designated physician supervisor who
meets the requirements for qualified physicians specified by the Utah
Department of Commerce;
(b) A
medical physicist who is certified by the American Board of Radiology in
Radiological Physics or Diagnostic Radiological Physics, or who meets the
requirements specified by the Department of Environmental Quality;
(c) One or more radiologic technologists who
meet the requirements specified by the Utah Department of Commerce pursuant to
Section
26-21a-203.
