Rule R432-200 - Small Health Care Facility - Four to Sixteen Beds
Section R432-200-27 - Dental Services

(1) The licensee shall provide annual and emergency dental care for residents.
(2) The licensee shall:
(a) develop oral hygiene policies and
procedures with input from dentists;
(b) present oral hygiene in-service training
programs to staff and residents by knowledgeable individuals;
(c) allow resident freedom of choice in
selecting their own private dentist;
(d) develop an agreement with a dental
service for any resident that does not have a personal dentist; and
(e) arrange transportation to and from the
dentist's office.
