Section R432-105-8 - Admission Policy

(1) An orthopedic specialty hospital is limited to serving patients that meet the following criteria:

(a) Each patient shall have a primary admitting diagnosis that requires evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of a musculoskeletal disorder or injury; and

(b) there is a reasonable expectation that the patient's needs can be met by the services provided by the orthopedic specialty hospital.
