Section R426-10-300 - Exceptions to Air Ambulance Service Application and Licensure

(1) This rule does not apply to the following:
(a) An air ambulance or air
ambulance service operated by an agency of the United States
government.
(b) Services that
provide rescue and evacuation equipment and aircraft owned and operated by a
governmental entity whose primary role is not to transport patients by air
ambulance, and who is not receiving payment for such services.
(c) Evacuation and rescue equipment used and
owned by the department of public safety in air, ground, or water
evacuation.
