8.1 APPLICABILITY
The requirements of R315-15-8 apply to all used oils that cannot be recycled and are therefore being disposed.
8.2 DISPOSAL
(a) Disposal of hazardous used oils. Used
oils that are identified as a hazardous waste and that cannot be recycled in
accordance with R315-15 shall be managed in accordance with the hazardous waste
management requirements of R315-1 through R315-14, and R315-50.
(b) Disposal of nonhazardous used oils. Used
oils that are not hazardous wastes and cannot be recycled under Rule R315-15
shall be disposed in a solid waste disposal facility meeting the applicable
requirements of Rules R315-301 through R315-318.
8.3 USE AS A DUST SUPPRESSANT, WEED SUPPRESSANT, OR FOR ROAD OILING
The use of used oil as a dust suppressant, weed suppressant, or for road oiling or other similar use is prohibited.
