Section R131-4-802 - Effect of Timely Protest

In the event of a timely protest under R131-4-801 A(1), Section 63G-6-810 or R131-4-815(1), the board shall not proceed further with the solicitation or with the award of the contract until all administrative and judicial remedies have been exhausted or until the executive director after consultation with the head of any applicable using agency or the head of any applicable purchasing agency, makes a written determination that the award of the contract without delay is necessary to protect substantial interests of the state.
