Rule R70-620 - Enrichment of Flour and Cereal Products
Section R70-620-2 - Enrichment Standards

(1) The following flour and cereal products have identity and enrichment standards as prescribed in 21 CFR Parts 137 and 139.

(a) Flour and cereals produced from small grain and corn including:
(i) enriched bromated flour;

(ii) enriched self-rising flour;

(iii) instantized - instant blending and quick-making forms of enriched bromated flour or enriched self-rising flour;

(iv) enriched farina;

(v) enriched corn meals;

(vi) enriched corn grits; and

(vii) enriched rice.

(b) Food products containing 25% or more of flour produced from small grain and corn including:
(i) enriched white bread and rolls;

(ii) enriched macaroni products;

(iii) enriched noodle products;

(iv) enriched vegetable macaroni products;

(v) enriched vegetable noodle products;

(vi) enriched macaroni products made with nonfat milk; and

(vii) enriched macaroni products with fortified protein.
