Section R68-8-3 - Weed Seeds

(1) The department shall quarantine any lots of seeds that contain prohibited or restricted weed seeds in violation of this rule.
(2) The seed lot may be:
(a) recleaned with the approval of the
department and, if found to be free from noxious weed seeds, released for sale
or distribution;
(b) shipped to
another state where that weed seed is not noxious;
(c) processed in a manner as to destroy the
viability of the weed seeds; or
(d)
disposed of in a manner approved by the department.
