Section R58-20-8 - Identification

(1) Each elk shall have two forms of identification that includes:
(a) a tamper-resistant RFID tag; and
(i) The RFID tag shall be placed in the right
ear.
(ii) Purchased elk must have
an RFID tag applied before arrival at the premises.
(iii) Replacement RFID tags and the visual
tag number shall be reported to the department within seven days of
application.
(b) a
visible dangle ear tag before arriving at the premises.
