Section 215.106 - Time for Filing Protest

(a) A notice of protest must be:
(1) received by the
department not later than 5:00 p.m. Central Time (CST or CDT, as applicable) on
the 15th day after the department issued the notice as evidenced by the date in
the notice;
(2) filed in the
department's designated electronic filing system; and
(3) submitted with the filing fee
paid.
(b) The department shall reject a notice of protest if:
(1) the
complete notice of protest is not filed within 15 days from the date of mailing
of the department's notification to the license holder of the filing of the
application; or
(2) the required
filing fee is not paid when the protest is submitted in the department's
designated electronic filing system or is later dishonored.
