Current through Reg. 49, No. 38; September 20, 2024
Yes. The Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) charges a fee to cover the costs of providing copies of its records. Fees are calculated according to rules adopted by the Office of the Attorney General. We may, at our discretion, waive charges if we determine that waiver is in the public interest or if we determine that the cost of collecting a fee exceeds the cost of providing the records.
