Section 700.903 - Protective Day Care

Protective day care is out-of-home care in licensed facilities, under contract with the Texas Department of Protective and Regulatory Services, and is provided to children for less than 24 hours at a time. Protective day care is provided to prevent or remedy child abuse or neglect by ensuring adequate care and supervision of children.
