Section 41.14 - Quarantine Line Defining and Establishing Tick Eradication Areas

(a) Under existing statutes, it is unlawful to move, or allow or permit to move, any livestock from the quarantined area except in a manner prescribed by the Texas Animal Health Commission. Movement must be on a written permit or certificate issued by an inspector of the commission or the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services, Veterinary Services in accordance with the law and the regulations of the commission.

(b) All of the area lying south and west of the boundary lines set forth in §§ 41.14- RSA 41.22 of this title (relating to Quarantine Line; Defining and Establishing Tick Eradication Areas) are designated as the systematic tick eradication area.

(c) All of the area lying north and east of the boundary lines set forth in §§ 41.14- RSA 41.22 of this title (relating to Quarantine Line; Defining and Establishing Tick Eradication Areas) are designated as the free area; provided, however, that individual quarantines for tick eradication, heretofore or hereafter established in this free area, are not affected by this designation.
