Section 25.11 - Eligibility Requirements for CACFP Participation

(a) Contractors and facilities must meet the requirements stated in 17(a)(2)(B) of the National School Lunch Act (42 U.S.C. 1766), as amended, 7 C.F.R. 226.2, 7 C.F.R. 226.6, 7 C.F.R. 226.15 - 7 C.F.R. 226.19a, and 7 C.F.R. 226.23, and TDA CACFP Handbooks.
(b) Contractors applying to participate as a sponsor of day care homes or unaffiliated facilities in CACFP as a new organization or reapplying to participate after a break in service must document an unmet need as outlined in the TDA CACFP Handbooks.
