Pursuant to the Texas Health and Safety Code Chapter 552, Subchapter B, and Chapter 593, Subchapter D, the purpose of this chapter is to describe:
(1) the assessment of fees for individuals' support, maintenance, and treatment at Texas Health and Human Services Commission facilities;
(2) the process to appeal an assessed fee; and
(3) the process to file a notice of lien.
