Section 87.501 - Definitions

The following words and terms, when used in this subchapter, have the following meanings unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.

(1) HCS--The Home and Community-based Services Program. A program operated by HHSC in accordance with §1915(c) of the Social Security Act.

(2) IDDO--Intellectual or Developmental Disability Ombudsman.

(3) Program provider--A person that has a contract with HHSC to provide HCS or TxHmL program services.

(4) TxHmL--The Texas Home Living Program. A program operated by HHSC in accordance with §1915(c) of the Social Security Act.
