Section 87.409 - Data and Reports

(a) OBH staff have access to data and systems maintained by the HHSC Health & Specialty Care System and the HHSC IDD-Behavioral Health Services Department necessary to complete their investigation of a contact. Specifically, OBH staff have access to the Client Assignment and Registration (CARE) system, and the Clinical Workstation (CWS) system.

(b) In accordance with Texas Insurance Code § 1355.2572(b), OBH collaborates with the Texas Department of Insurance on an annual report on the status of rights and responsibilities for mental health condition and substance use disorder benefits, and resolved and unresolved parity complaints.
