Section 749.831 - What is the orientation requirement for caregivers and employees?

(a) Prior to beginning job duties or having contact with children in care, each caregiver or employee must have orientation that includes:
(1) An overview of the
relevant and applicable rules of this chapter;
(2) Your philosophy, organizational
structure, policies, and a description of the services and programs you offer;
and
(3) The needs and
characteristics of children that you serve.
(b) You must document the completion of the orientation in the appropriate personnel record.
