Section 748.1933 - May I admit a young adult into care?

(a) You may admit a young adult into your transitional living program.

(b) For other programs or services, the young adult must:

(1) Come immediately from another residential child-care operation if the reason for admittance is consistent with a condition listed in § 748.1931 of Title 40 (relating to After a child in my care turns 18 years old, may the person remain in my care?); or

(2) Be in the care of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

(c) A young adult may remain in your care until his 23rd birthday.
