Section 748.531 - What qualifications must a child-care administrator meet?

(a) A child-care administrator must:

(1) Meet the qualifications established by the operation's governing body;

(2) Be a Licensed Child-Care Administrator according to Chapter 43 of the Human Resources Code and Chapter 745, Subchapter N of Title 40 (relating to Administrators Licensing); and

(3) Be a full-time employee of the operation.

(b) If acting as the administrator for two residential child-care operations under § 748.533 of Title 40 (relating to Can a child-care administrator be an administrator for two residential child-care operations?), the administrator must split a full-time schedule between the two operations as described in the professional staffing plans for each operation.
