Section 743.101 - What are the minimum qualifications?

(a) Primary caregivers must:
(1) Be at least 18
years of age;
(2) Have a high
school diploma or its equivalent; and
(3) Meet the background check requirements in
this subchapter.
(b) Caregivers must:
(1) Be at least 14 years of
age and at least two years older than the oldest child in their care;
and
(2) Meet the background check
requirements in this subchapter.
(c) Supplemental caregivers must meet the background check requirements in this subchapter.
