Section 550.302 - Organizational Structure and Lines of Authority

(a) A center must prepare and maintain a current written description of the center's organizational structure. The document may be either in the form of a chart or a narrative.
(b) The description must include:
(1) all services provided by the
center;
(2) if applicable to the
center's organization structure and lines of authority, the governing body,
board of directors, the administrator, alternate administrator, the medical
director, the nursing director, the alternate nursing director, advisory
committee, IDT, and staff, as appropriate, based on services provided by the
center; and
(3) the lines of
authority and the delegation of responsibility down to and including the direct
care level.
