Section 358.315 - Participation Requirements

(a) The child must attend at least 85 percent of scheduled HHSC Focused ABA services over the year . This is necessary for the child to fully benefit from the services, regardless of the reason for the absence.

(b) Participation in parent training, a minimum of once every two weeks as defined in § 358.105(23) of this chapter (relating to Definitions), is required for a child to receive services.

(c) The parent and the child must participate in pre-test protocols upon enrollment into HHSC Focused ABA services. The parent and the child must participate in post-test protocols before exiting HHSC Focused ABA services.

(d) If the parent and the child fail to meet these requirements, the child may be dismissed from the HHSC Children's Autism Program. The requirements may be waived with written approval by HHSC .
