Section 350.1016 - Planning for Services to Be Delivered with the Routine Caregiver

(a) If delivering services with the participation of the routine caregiver in the absence of the parent is necessary, the IFSP team must:

(1) document the names of the routine caregivers in the child's record;

(2) obtain written parental consent before releasing personally identifiable information to the routine caregiver; and

(3) obtain written authorization from the parent to provide early childhood intervention services with the routine caregiver.

(b) A member of the IFSP team must contact the parent face-to-face or by telephone at least once every month to provide an update on services provided with a routine caregiver.
