Section 229.245 - Exemption

(a) A person is exempt from licensing a place of business in accordance with § 229.246 of this subchapter (relating to Licensure Requirements) if the person holds a license for the place of business issued by the department under Subchapter W of this chapter (relating to Licensing of Wholesale Distributors of Prescription Drugs--Including Good Manufacturing Practices).

(b) An exemption from the licensing requirement granted in subsection (a) of this section does not constitute an exemption from other applicable requirements for nonprescription drugs in this subchapter or under the Act.
