(a) Effective February 15, 2021, except as
modified in this subchapter, the Commission adopts by specific reference the
provisions established by the National Fire Protection Association in its 2013
edition of the Compressed Gases and Cryogenic Fluids Code, commonly referred to
as NFPA 55 or Pamphlet 55. Nothing in this section or subchapter shall prevent
the Commission, after notice, from adopting additional requirements, whether
more or less stringent, for individual situations to protect the health,
safety, and welfare of the general public. Any documents or parts of documents
incorporated by reference into these rules shall be a part of these rules as if
set out in full.
(b) Effective
February 15, 2021, the Commission also adopts by reference all other NFPA
publications or portions of those publications referenced in NFPA 55 which
apply to CNG activities only. The pamphlets adopted by reference in NFPA 55
