Section 173.103 - Process for Submitting Applications for Grants and Other Funds

(a) The Commission shall publish notice of availability of grants and related policies on its website.
(b) Grant applications. The Commission will provide notice to each county judge of the availability of indigent defense grants. Applicants applying pursuant to a Request for Applications (RFA) must submit their applications according to the requirements provided in the RFA. The RFA will provide the following:
(1) information regarding deadlines for the
submission of applications;
(2) the
maximum and minimum amounts of funding available for a grant, if
applicable;
(3) the starting and
ending dates for grants;
(4)
information regarding how applicants may access applications;
(5) information regarding where and how
applicants must submit applications;
(6) submission and program requirements;
and
(7) the priorities for funding
as established by the Commission.
