(a) To the extent applicable, the agency adopts the State Vehicle Management Plan as adopted by the Office of Vehicle Fleet Management, under the direction of the Council on Competitive Government, on October 11, 2000.

(b) Restrictions on Assignment of Vehicles.

(1) Each agency vehicle shall be assigned to the agency motor pool and be available for checkout.

(2) The agency may assign a vehicle to an individual administrative or executive employee on a regular or everyday basis only if the agency makes a written determination that the assignment is critical to the needs and mission of the agency.
