Section 20.203 - Candidates for State Party Chair

Because the state chair of a political party does not hold a public office, a candidate for state chair of a political party is not within the definition of "candidate" set out in § RSA 20.1(4) of this title (relating to Definitions). Nonetheless, a candidate for the state chair of a political party is subject to filing requirements as provided by Subchapter J of this chapter (relating to Reports by a Candidate for State Party Chair).
