The Division of Welcome Centers is responsible for the operation of our seven Welcome Center facilities in the State of Tennessee. Our Welcome Centers receive an average of 1.3 million registrants annually with one out of every three persons registering, which equals 4 million persons with an average of 2.5 persons per car stopping at our Welcome Centers. The Welcome Centers provide tourist information to an estimated million persons annually at our seven centers in our competitive effort with the other southeastern states to sell tourists to visit in the State of Tennessee.
