Chapter 1360-02-10 - Absentee Voting by Mail with Punch Cards
Section 1360-02-10-.02 - PROCEDURES FOR ISSUANCE

Current through September 24, 2024

(1) Upon proper application by a voter for an absentee by mail ballot, the registrar shall process the application in accordance with T.C.A. § 2-6-202, and shall issue to the voter the following supplies:

(a) An appropriately pre-punched absentee ballot.

(b) A write-in envelope.

(c) A styrofoam backing for use when punching a card.

(d) A ballot guide for absentee voting, indicating the punch portions for each candidate for each office in the selection.

(e) A set of instructions for absentee voting by mail, which adequately describes the procedures to be followed to cast a punch card ballot by mail.

(f) A disposable ballot punch.

(g) Return envelope.

(h) Affidavit.
