Title 1255 - Real Estate Appraiser Commission
Chapter 1255-01 - General Provisions
Section 1255-01-.01 - PURPOSE

The Tennessee Estate Appraiser Commission's purpose in promulgating these rules is to implement the provisions of the State Licensing and Certified Real Estate Appraisers Law (the "Act"), T.C.A., Title 62, Chapter 39, as amended by 1991 Public Acts, Chapter 366, in a manner consistent with Title XI of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery and Enforcement Act of 1989 (FIRREA), Title 12 United States Code, §§ 93, et seq. The Commission is authorized by T.C.A. § 62-39-333(a), to promulgate such rules as may be necessary to ensure compliance with FIRREA and other applicable law.
