Households and Aid Groups that are found to be ineligible shall be sent a notice of denial as soon as possible but not later than 30 days following the date of application was filed for Food Stamps, or 45 days for AFDC. Information obtained during the intake interview in some instances is sufficient for the intake worker to determine that the applicant is ineligible at intake and therefore can be denied at that point.
